Max M. Coates

Mr. Coates graduated from Triad High School, attended
Urbana University, and Clark State with degrees in Agri-Business and Bank Operations and the Ohio University School of Banking. He has had a 38 year banking career.
Max was Mayor of North Lewisburg for 30 years and prior to Mayor was elected to Village Council and Board of Public Affairs.
He served 12 years on the Champaign County Library Board of Trustees with 7 years as V. Pres. He served 4 years on the Mercy Memorial Board of Directors and was
Treasurer of the LUC Regional Planning Commission for 17 years and 32 years on the Northeast Champaign County Fire District Board.
Max resides with his wife Janice in North Lewisburg, Rush Township and are members of the North Lewisburg Methodist Church.
